About Alpina Eye Clinics
Alpina Eye Clinics is a leading network of eleven specialized eye clinics and practices in Switzerland. Our locations operate independently and at the same time benefit from a close professional exchange, shared expertise and central administrative support. We cover the entire spectrum of modern ophthalmology and have our own operating theaters. In doing so, we set new standards - always with the highest quality standards and the well-being of our patients at the center. We place great importance on the further training of younger colleagues: most of our locations are recognized training centres, and clinical research projects are also important to us.

We unite eleven renowned eye clinics and practices in Switzerland and combine medical excellence with strong regional roots. With locations in three cantons, four operating theatres and more than 80,000 patient contacts and almost 10,000 surgical procedures every year, we offer our patients and specialists bundled expertise, state-of-the-art equipment and the highest quality standards.

My mission is clear: scientifically sound medicine, quality in practice and an uncompromising focus on patient well-being - this is deeply rooted in my DNA. These values are the guiding principle for the entire Alpina Eye Group - and I personally ensure that they are practiced in every team: Through the structured training of our younger doctors as well as through clear procedures, well thought-out processes and high standards in organization and patient management.
Each practice within our network brings its own history and expertise - and it is precisely this diversity that we see as our strength. Thanks to the professional exchange within the network and the administrative support, our doctors can focus entirely on what matters: Providing the best possible care for our patients.

Well informed - even outside of consultation hours
Patient information is a key concern for us, both during consultations at the clinic and beyond. To this end, we regularly hold information events and create explanatory videos that make complex medical topics understandable and practical. The focus is on our core competence: cataract surgery, particularly refractive cataract surgery using modern premium lenses. Our videos provide patients with reliable information to help them make well-informed decisions, explained clearly and concisely. All partner clinics within our network can use these videos, whether for information in the waiting area, preparation for the consultation or integration into their own website.
